Hi, my name is Erlinda Jorgio Cabuenas, born to humble farmers Felicisimo and Maximina Jorgio of Valencia, Alegria Cebu in June 11, 1959. Being one of their 9 children, my parents came to a point to stop me from pursuing high school studies as as they can hardly bring up nine of us out of a meager income. They just wanted me to help them in the farm which I always do. Maybe a passion for education was inherent in my childish mind that at the age of 13, I decided on my own to leave home, took a bus with nothing at all, and went straight to Badian High school at far distance. I stayed there for long hoping somebody would take pity. Luckily, a teacher came by and questioned me. After knowing my predicament, she offered me to stay in her house as she has no children, which was the turning point of my life. She is also happy to have me as I always help her in the household chores and I’m more than happy because she always bring me to school and supported my school needs. I then go home to my parents every weekend to help them in the farm which they eventually agreed.
Life has destined me to be accustomed to work that in High School days, I was a working student under the Principal Division of our school and in my college days still a working student in the University of the Visayas while taking up Bachelor or Science in Commerce major in Accounting, then I became a Polisher of Metabel from 1980 to 1982, Secretary of Aboitiz from 1983 to 1984, Assistant Secretary of the Assessor’s office from 1984 to 1986, Bookeeper of Assenero’s Realty family from 1987 to 1989, and self employed in direct selling from 1990 up to 2006. From 2006 up to the present, I am a Property Consultant of Land Asia Realty
I’m a born again Christian and I’m now happily married to Ciriaco Cabuenas Jr. who is presently working in Australia. We are blessed with three loveable children with ages 13, 12 and 10 and we are presently residing at 165 – Cabantan St., Barrio Luz, Cebu City. Until now I am accustomed to sleeping at 12 midnight and wake up at 4:00 dawn to take care the needs of my children helping preparing them for school.
My strong determination and faith in God brought me into this world of selling real estate, the kind of work that I enjoy very much, as sparked by the thrill of my most recent sale in Commonwealth Estate worth 9 million million of house and lot.
